Project Background & Difficulties
The Saint-Gobain production workshop operates 24-hour continuous production with multiple heavy-duty equipment, fans and transmission units. Superimposed mechanical vibration noise and airflow noise cause excessive workshop noise and serious reverberation, failing occupational health and environmental noise standards. The project faces strict constraints: no production shutdown, guaranteed equipment heat dissipation, high workshop cleanliness and stable long-term noise control effect.
Customized Noise Control Solution
We adopted a systematic four-in-one solution: source vibration reduction, equipment silencing, space sound absorption and regional sound insulation.
1. Installed high-performance vibration dampers for heavy equipment to reduce low-frequency structural noise from the source.
2. Equipped composite mufflers and acoustic louvers for fan outlets to eliminate airflow noise without affecting ventilation and heat dissipation.
3. Laid fireproof and moisture-proof acoustic panels and hanging absorbers on workshop walls and ceilings to reduce reverberation and improve indoor acoustic environment.
4. Built modular sound insulation enclosures for high-noise equipment, reserving maintenance and heat dissipation channels.
5. Sealed all gaps and holes to eliminate sound leakage and ensure overall noise reduction effect.
