A university in Huai’an, Jiangsu carried out full acoustic decoration renovation for its lecture theatre. The original space suffered severe reverberation and echo, causing unclear speech and blurry audio during lectures, presentations and video screenings, which greatly affected teaching experience.

We adopted a two-layer wall acoustic solution: high-density sound insulation cotton was closely laid against the wall as the sound absorption base layer, covered with decorative wooden acoustic panels on the surface. This composite structure efficiently eliminates indoor echo and shortens reverberation time. After renovation, teachers’ speeches and projection audio become crisp, distinct and free of messy noise.

Beyond outstanding acoustic performance, natural wood grain panels upgrade the lecture hall’s interior aesthetic without extra decorative materials. The whole acoustic renovation project passed official acceptance smoothly.
